  28.        The following excerpts  are  a  summary  of the research underway by
  29.        Nicholas Reiter. Nicholas is a graduate  of Terra Technical College,
  30.        and is a  professional  research  technologist  for   a  solar  cell
  31.        manufacturing firm. He   about   thirty   years  old  and  has  been
  32.        interested in the UFO phenomena all  his  life.  The  following is a
  33.        brief of the summarization of his research as outlined  in Dr. David
  34.        Gotlib's Bulletin of   Anomalous   Experience;   "Magnetic   Implant
  35.        Response" and "Magnetism,  UFO  Abductions   and   the   Anomalous".
  36.        Nicholas does not  belong  to  any large UFO group  (  e.g.   MUFON,
  37.        CUFOS, etc. )  and  has  been involved in this research for the past
  38.        three years.  Some of the following  "quoted"  passages are directly
  39.        from sources listed above.

  41.        New observations which  may  well  be  some of the most  significant
  42.        discoveries made in regard to abductions, UFOS and mind control were
  43.        first investigated in   the   Autumn   of   1990.  These  tests  and
  44.        experiments were performed by Nicholas Reiter and his colleague (AR)
  45.        in the Dallas area with confirmed  abductees using a techniques that
  46.        can easily be duplicated.
  47.  
  48.        The objectives of these two were;
  49.  
  50.          1. Can the UFO abduction process be understood  in  the  terms  of
  51.             specific technology?
  52.          2. Can  the  abduction  implant  devices,  recalled so often under
  53.             hypnosis, be  objectively  detected,   studied,   and  possibly
  54.             neutralized by  electrical,  magnetic,  or  otherwise   energy-
  55.             related means?
  56.          3. Can a system of defense be developed against the protocol ?
  57.  
  58.        Assumptions for the research/experimentation;
  59.  
  60.          1. There  exists  an  intelligence,  of unknown origin and nature,
  61.             which is currently carrying out  an  agenda of experimentation,
  62.             manipulation, and/or resource acquisition using the human race,

  70.             or certain members thereof, as unwilling subjects.
  71.          2. The  agenda given in assumption 1 is being carried out with the
  72.             use of highly advanced technology.
  73.          3. This technology appears to be,  at  least  partially,  based on
  74.             forms of  energy,  or  energy-matter relationships,  which  are
  75.             currently unknown to, or unacknowledged, by classical physics.
  76.          4. The human race has the undeniable right to defend itself to the
  77.             best of it's ability, against the abduction agenda.
  78.  
  79.        The first set  of  experiments  involved  trying  to find a means to
  80.        elicit a tangible objective response from abduction implant devices.
  81.        AR first noticed a "weird" sensation  in her volunteers when a large
  82.        ( flux density measured at approx. 2000 gauss) horseshoe  magnet had
  83.        been held up  to  the  region  of  the  volunteers head where, under
  84.        hypnosis, the volunteer  had recalled  aliens  "doing  something  to
  85.        her". The sensation  was extraordinary vivid and disturbing  to  the
  86.        volunteer. It seemed  to be both mental and physiological in nature.
  87.        In nearest terms it was a "panic"  response,  a  mental  feeling  of
  88.        terror or extreme  apprehension,  coupled  with a verified  rise  in
  89.        pulse rate and perspiration.
  90.  
  91.        The volunteer (V#1),   said   that  the  panic  response  seemed  to
  92.        duplicate the feeling that she had  been  subject  to  in  the past,
  93.        shortly before an  abduction  related event would  occur.  Over  the
  94.        course of the following weeks several different tests were conducted
  95.        with the subject V#1.
  96.  
  97.           1. A  large  electromagnet ( 1000 turns of #14 AWG wrapped around
  98.              an iron core) was substituted  for  the horseshoe magnet. This
  99.              coil was energized both with 110VAC and later  with  6VDC,  in
  100.              different tests.   The  response  for  both  were  smaller  in
  101.              magnitude than the horseshoe magnet although the symptoms were
  102.              the same.

  104.           2. While using the horseshoe magnet  a  piece of steel was placed
  105.              between the poles to divert the magnetic flux  away  from  any
  106.              external regions  of  the  magnet.  This test was performed to
  107.              determine if  the  actual flux  lines  were  involved  in  the
  108.              response or whether the response was based on  other "virtual"
  109.              effects of magnet.

  111.           3. The  response  (hereafter called the Magnetic Implant Response
  112.              or MIR)  seemed to first appear  when  the  magnet  was  moved
  113.              within 18 inches of the volunteer's response  region  (area of
  114.              the implant).   From   this  distance  inward,  the  intensity
  115.              increased.
  116.  
  117.           4. The Tesla Coil Suppression Effect  (TCSE) was discovered. This
  118.              will be discussed later.
  119.  
  120.        Nicholas and AR then started testing other volunteers  in  Jan 1991.
  121.        Previous to this   their  research  was  being  performed  with  the
  122.        assistance of V#1 only.  On Jan 8,  they  tested  another  confirmed
  123.        volunteer. No communication  was allowed between V#1  and  V#2.  The
  124.        symptoms experienced by V#2 were identical to those of V#1.

  126.        Over the course  of  the  next few months, two other volunteers were
  127.        tested.  V#3 showed a positive reaction  with  consistent  symptoms.
  128.        V#4 however, felt no response or sensations.

  136.        Nicholas and AR  started  researching  the  nature of the abductions
  137.        experienced by all volunteers. They found that V#1, V#2 and V#3 were
  138.        "classical" abductees, though their specific experiences and ordeals
  139.        were different.  Each recalled, during  either  their regression, or
  140.        waking memories, the phenomena most often experienced  by  those who
  141.        have been repeatedly  abducted  (e.g.  Grey  entities, quasi-medical
  142.        protocols, possible implant  insertion,   etc.).   V#4's   abduction
  143.        experience were quite  "non-standard"  and  may  involve   different
  144.        phenomena.

  146.        It was decided  that  the  research should then continue. The second
  147.        phase of experimentation continued.  AR  reported the following; V#1
  148.        was placed in  a  chair,  and  was  tested  for  MIR.  Results  were
  149.        positive. An 18  inch  tall Tesla spark gap coil was set up in front
  150.        on V#1. The coil was turned on and  allowed  to  operate for several
  151.        minutes ( then  coil's  power  was  adjusted to produce  a   4  inch
  152.        discharge at the secondary. Exact construction details are available
  153.        from Nicholas Reiter).

  155.        V#1 was then  checked for MIR and the results were negative. The MIR
  156.        had vanished. V#1 was checked again  24  hours later and the results
  157.        were still negative. The nullifying effect lasted for  approximately
  158.        six days.  When it DID return it was at a much diminished magnitude.
  159.        From this observation  it  was  inferred  that  the MIR had not been
  160.        eliminated, but had  been  in  some   way  deadened  or  temporarily
  161.        stunned.
  162.  
  163.        V#2 was similarly tested with the Tesla coil and  the  results  were
  164.        identical.  The MIR ceased for a period of time.
  165.  
  166.        Another interesting effect  was  noticed  by  V#1. She was given the
  167.        Tesla coil to take home with her. On several occasions, specifically
  168.        on certain evenings V#1 would get  the  feeling that unseen entities
  169.        were nearby. She  found  that by switching on the  tesla  coil,  the
  170.        sensation would vanish, as though the coil was disrupting or driving
  171.        away the invisible force.

  173.        This concludes the   studies   performed   by   Nicholas  Reiter  in
  174.        conjunction with AR.
  175.  
  176.        Nicholas has continued his research. Lack of volunteers prompted him
  177.        to start research in a slightly different  vein.  He started testing
  178.        subjects randomly, business associates, friends, family,  and people
  179.        on the street were tested with some surprising results.
  180.  
  181.        The subjects were  told that some people have the ability to "sense"
  182.        magnetic fields for unknown reasons  and  that  he  (Nicholas) would
  183.        like to determine if they ( the volunteers/subjects) can detect them
  184.        as well.

  186.        The volunteers were placed in a comfortable chair.  A  galvanic skin
  187.        response indicator was placed on the second and third fingers of the
  188.        left hand. The  volunteer  was then shown the magnet (similar to the
  189.        one used in the original experiments).  The  volunteer  is  asked to
  190.        verbalize any feelings  or  sensations  which they might  experience
  191.        during the test.  The  subject is then blindfolded and a few minutes
  192.        are allowed to let the galvanic skin  response  monitor  to  "settle
  193.        out".

  202.        At this point,  the  magnet is then moved slowly and randomly around
  203.        the head.  Spacing is kept at two  inches  at  all  times  from  the
  204.        subjects head.  Sensations,  feelings and GSP monitor  response  are
  205.        observed and recorded. When the test is completed the volunteers are
  206.        thanked and released.  If  permitted  the  age,  sex, occupation and
  207.        names were recorded.

  209.        Out of the first 24 subjects tested  5 showed a positive response to
  210.        this procedure. One  or  more of the following characteristics  were
  211.        noted in each case;
  212.  
  213.                1. A feeling of apprehension or panic.
  214.                2. A sensation of pressure or tightness
  215.                3. A feeling of disorientation
  216.                4. Dark, formless shape moving against closed eyelids.
  217.                5. Uncontrollable finger twitching
  218.  
  219.        None of the   five  random  positive  response  cases  were  totally
  220.        identical in symptom. However, the  following  characteristics  were
  221.        common in all five cases;
  222.  
  223.             1. The feeling was weird or unpleasant.
  224.             2. Extreme nervousness and anxiety was present
  225.             3. The effect was vivid and definite.
  226.             4. The GSR monitor tone increased, indicating  increased bodily
  227.                perspiration.
  228.             5. The  response  occurred  at a single, definitive location on
  229.                each subjects head.
  230.  
  231.        The areas included were;
  232.  
  233.        Case #6 - behind and below the left ear.
  234.        Case #2 - left temple ( in front of, and slightly above left ear)
  235.        Case #3 - "above nose, somewhere between and behind the eyes.
  236.        Case #13 - Left temple
  237.        Case #21 - Above and slightly behind left ear

  239.        The above test results were obtained  during 1991 and published that
  240.        same year. further testing is being done at this time.  Nicholas has
  241.        designed some electronic  equipment dealing with a "security" system
  242.        or abduction prevention equipment.  The  description  and  plans for
  243.        these devices and being processed into files which may be downloaded
